Public charging in India is expanding quickly, and the government is funding more of it. Charger makers that can design, certify and build locally are in demand.
India had 52,718 public EV charging stations as of July 2026, including 16,561 with fast chargers for cars, per a government reply to Parliament.
PM E-DRIVE targets about 72,300 new public stations by March 2028, with up to 80% subsidy on upstream infrastructure and 70% on charging equipment at government sites.
Under the Phased Manufacturing Programme, DC CCS2 guns and controllers must be locally sourced, and AC-DC converters and power modules made domestically. Local design and manufacturing is a requirement, not a preference.
Of chargers installed by March 2026, only 22,753 of 27,737 were operational. That gap favours suppliers with reliable hardware and remote monitoring.

For partners and for Sisha.
Build to spec, sell under the partner's brand
A brand brings its specification and market. We engineer, certify and manufacture the charger, and the partner sells it under its own name.
Adapt our platforms, co-own the product
Partners start from Sisha's existing AC and DC platforms and customise hardware, firmware, connectivity and branding for their market.
Develop new products, deploy them
Joint development of new hardware, firmware or software, delivered with certification, manufacturing and deployment support.
Revenue mechanics, including unit pricing, minimum order quantities, NRE or development fees, and software or support subscriptions, are shared with qualified investors after an enquiry is reviewed.
Our teams cover the product from first prototype to field support, so partners work with one engineering group.
We translate your requirements into engineered concepts and working prototypes.
Hardware, firmware and software integration validated against your use case.
Performance, safety and compliance testing to certify real-world reliability.
Scalable, Made-in-Bharat production with quality control at every stage.
Turnkey rollout, smart-platform onboarding and lifecycle support.
